And they say nothing good happens after 9pm.
Still, I think some of the best things can happen then.
It’s calm in the house. The kids are asleep. Outside, it’s dark. Up here in the attic, you can hear the steady clicking of keyboards. Patrick is coding, me writing.
There’s still confetti on my desk from earlier, balloons scattered on the floor. I’m in my pajamas, notebook open, filled with post ideas for the coming days.
This is what I love about my part-time writing business:
I can do it myyyyyy way.
