I’ve been wanting highlighting capabilities for a long time but never thought about asking someone in the know about it. I’m far from a beginner on Substack but I’m considering your course if you’re going to be covering all of the new features. 🤔 Another Kristina course might be in order.
If I read right, it's at 4:00 am my time. I can do a live as early as 5:00 because my cat gets me up by then, but 4:00 is a bit early. I hope I can watch replays when I can't make the Live events. 😊
Hi Cat,you can join Kristina’s course for free! It’s about community and feeling home. So Kristina opens this course for all annual subscribers. I’ll tell her to send you the link and I’ll add you
Hi Melinda, that's a new tool, too! I think you're an annual subscriber, right? Come join our Subsatck for Beginners fro FREE as we gonna talk about the edirot and the new features next Friday when we're ricking it off. As for the drop cap feature, a large letter in the opening line is possible now! Jo Thompson from instance is using it. Important: The drop cap is only visible to people reading on the web. Does thos help? If you want to join the course, let me know here/Dm
Hiiii! It’s nice to see YOUR face as you’re an OG to me… I have not used Stackbuddy! How can I find? I am slowly going to integrate tools as yesssss, so many news things. I used the highlight feature recently and I uploaded a logo as a GIF recently so my ‘Grow’ is animated ever so slightly. That one is just for fun!
Thanks. I'm not sure I'll use the highlighting but I'm glad it is an option. I wasn't aware of the call out box and am definitely going to start incorporating that.
Hi Beverly, I checked and say ou haven't started yet but I guess you want and will soon, super! Have you seen the Substack for Beginners Class?
I'm also not exactly sure how I'll use it... I think underline would be a great feature... somehow it's editor feature bingo as there are so many and Substack can pick the ones that makes the most sense. For more personal newsletters underline is smart. I also see of course highlighting more but this comes in promo emails
Thank you for featuring me in this post, @kristinagod! I look forward to discovering more of your suggestions for growing and getting paid. My work is relatively niche, and I like knowing who I am writing for and to, so ~500 has been a good tribe size of difference-makers. But it doesn've have to stay that way.
By the way, I love NYC and its buzz - it is the city in which I came of age!
I hadn't realized you are in Germany, Kristina! Thank you for shouting me out on YouTube now, adding to my reach ... isn't this the beauty of the Substack platform? The natural extension of our communities? See you around!
That's so cool reading from you in the comments and connecting. Substack is shipping new features like crazy. I also featured you on YouTube. Let me share the link

Appreciate the offer, Kristina but lots on my plate. Is it just Fri? And what time
Every Friday we have a live around a topic that fits. This week it will be the Substack post editor with all its changes.
You can then also watch the replay and have access to all the videos of the course. Super easy and flexible. As member you see the perk
This is AMAZING! Great post sharing the info Kristina!
Hi Melissa, how are you doing my friend. Hope all is good!?
Have you used StackBuddy to find other people to collaborate with? Next week will be about community building and the free tools from the Club to use.
Have you seen? Substack shipped so many new tools and features in the editor. It's crazy
