When I read your story it resonated with me. I'm from Frankfurt, West Germany 🇩🇪 that is one reason and the other is, I always called my dad on a Sunday but when I did call on a Sunday in 2007, my father was just discovered deceased 5 minutes before I called.
When I called my
Step-Mother simple stated that he can't talk and hung up on me. I said to myself WTG**** and called back.
I told her sternly "I WANT MY FATHER ON THE PHONE NOW!!!"😡🤬 I'd gathered that she didn't know how to tell me that my father just passed away.
He took a walk came home and took a nap that he never woke up from.
