I worked with someone who set me up on Amazon (she works with lots of authors who self-publish and is very successful), I've gotten several "testimonials" and hope to get some good reviews (I'm in a group of Substack writers who are older, we meet once-a-month to discuss aging, and they are very supportive) and I have over 1200 subscribers (only 10 paid though) on Substack plus those on Medium and I've put the word out about tomorrow not only on Substack, but on Medium and Facebook. As you can imagine, I'm not starting a new "career" at my age, but I think it's been great fun putting this book together and I think it might have a little success because 1) although there seem to be several books with the title "From There to Here" on Amazon, mine is the only one that has "An Alphabet Memoir" it the title. It's a unique format that, as far as I know, hasn't been used before; 2) many people prefer to read short complete pieces rather than novels these days; 3) not many 86-year-olds publish a book.
I don't know what you had in mind about helping me but if you could write a review that would be great. If you'd rather wait until the Kindle version comes out, it'll be out Aug. 15. I used a wonderful program for formatting called "Vellum" which essentially does all the formatting for the book, and my daughter, who is a designer by profession, designed the cover. The cover has one of my photographs and a back cover "blurb" written by a good friend of mine (and great writer: author of "Art and Fear") Ted Orland.
I'm sorry I didn't see your emails or chats. Italy sounded wonderful; made me miss it a lot (I lived there, if you recall, for 12 years).
Hope you're doing well with your beautiful family. Glad you got such good quality time off. Let me know if you have any suggestions about the book that I can implement at this point. (I have a second book which will be out in a couple of months!)

I can't see the option to make these changes in Settings. Is this feature available in Australia?
