Thank you very much. It is not at all easy to find competent writers. Also, the boost curation team seems to know very little about philosophy, which does not help, but we do our best to provide something useful for readers.
Ooph, I hear you on that Romaric. I have to find 20 new ones every month ЁЯШЖ
Curation can be generalists yeah. But many niches have boost issues. My writing is humor which is wildly subjective when it comes to curating. But we just go our best :)
This is certainly subjective! I am pretty sure we all experience it. For some very good posts on rare but important topics, I have been disappointed by curatorial decisions from time to time. But of course, this is all part of a process that is not designed to make us happy, but to help Medium grow.
Yes, this is mine! Thank you very much. I created it with Matt Fujimoto (https://mattfujimoto.substack.com). We publish philosophical writings or arguments based on philosophical ideas. Our writers are partly philosophers (graduate students, researchers, university professors) and partly philosophy readers. We have also started another publication dealing with linguistics, language, and the philosophy of language called "Language is Life".
Yes, I am. I am a Boost nominator on Medium. I do not know why, but to give my feeling (which is very personal), I feel the relationship with the readers is better on Substack and I prefer Substack a bit.
I find the podcast very interesting. Also, thanks for mentioning "Philosophy Today"!
I hope you find some great new writers, it's a solid pub Romaric.
