Was thrilled to listen in to your conversation with Linda today! Again, such wonderful insights for anyone on Substack. While I initially resisted using Notes when it was launched, it has helped me grow and expand my network or loyal subscribers. Thank you for highlighting and breaking down Jo Taylor's viral note. So often, it's the stories that we least expect to do well that resonate, as they're told from the heart and speak to others in an authentic way.
Jo, your Note really strikes a chord in my heart. My autistic, disabled son spends more time in the hospital than I care to think about.
The ER staff are always superb. No matter how busy they are, they always do everything they can to accommodate him. You are all my heroes π π€π
Kristina, thank you for allowing me to be a Notes Booster in your Chat and Online Community. It's super fun π
Kristina, Jo's viral note published just as I was learning about "noting." It is the perfect example of speaking from the heart.
Over a few weeks --- yes weeks! --- I came back to Jo's note, read it again and again, and made my way through the comments until I found a comment that spoke to me.
Then, checked out the author of that comment, replied to their comment on Jo's viral note, and sundered down the road looking for another yummy tidbit.
I believe the value of notes is building community of like-mind souls.
I remember when I had a note go viral with over 6K hearts as well. It also brought over 700 new subs. What a feeling! Your note is so meaningful π
Kristina, when I saw that paper airplane tattoo, newsletter was not my first thought. Travel was. Maybe that's a travel tatt.
Thank you, Kristi!

Dr Donna - thanks so much for sharing that you did this. I think thatβs the secretβfinding both writing AND people. We are so lucky to have this.
Agreed Jo -- following our gut rather than trying so hard allows the "game" to come to us
*following our gut rather...
Jo will also be one of our rockstar session speakers!
Yay!
