Wow!

122 likes and 170 comments on my last newsletter issue about Substack's growth engine show how important networking and cooperation opportunities are for you and all of us.

Unfortunately, on Substack, it’s not easy to find someone to collaborate with.

As promised, I've already started recommending a handful of other publications.

Aaron Joseph Hall
Frank Elda
and many more are already getting subscribers since I fired up my recommendation machine.

I’m happy that I could help

David McIlroy
reach the milestone of 1,000 subs! Congratulations, David!

As far as I’m concerned, within the next few days, I’ll hit 1,000 subscribers through recommendations. Yeah!:

“But what about all the other creators who left a comment and are looking to collaborate with others?”

Of course, I’ll add more and more within the next days and weeks and rotate. But that’s not enough!

I’d like to help as many writers as possible.

The Creator Network

In this week’s YouTube video, I show the power of ConvertKit’s new Creator Network.

In the network, you can find the “perfect match” = creators with a similar audience.

Why should you care?

I recommended the Creator Network to my husband (he’s a software developer and YouTuber).

In the video, you can see how he’s using it in his niche and the amazing number of subs he gained.

It’s brilliant.

I created a collaborative spreadsheet

Unfortunately, Substack doesn’t offer such a smart feature.

No “Substack groups”, as

Jack Everly
suggested.

In addition, I tend to recommend newsletters in other niches (besides starting and growing an online (writing) business) that I think my audience could be interested in.

  • Since I’m a non-native, I recommend e.g.

    Business English Bits
    .

  • Since I’m a mom of a baby and a toddler, I love to support other moms (and dads) and their newsletters if their topics resonate with me, e.g.

    Burk
    J.R. Heimbigner
    Nicole Dake

  • Since I love to help new writers, I often recommend them, e.g.

    Frank Elda

I bet you feel the same about helping others to mutually grow your newsletter, right?

At least, based on my last newsletter edition, more than a hundred creators are looking for someone to collaborate with.

That’s why I created a collaborative Substack Spreadsheet.

With your help, this table can grow exponentially over time!

I tried some fancy tools to make it sexy but finally stuck to the good old minimalistic spreadsheet from Google Sheets.

No worries, I’ll make it sexier over time.

Here’s the simple way how to add your publication to the sheet
