If you can believe it…

We’re officially at the end of the year. Just two weeks left.

And if it feels like the wheels have fallen off somewhere between November and now, trust me—you’re not alone.

When life threw a wrench into my plans—my dad was in intensive care, my mom needed 911, and I found myself on a cold operating table…

…—I had one sobering thought:

What happens to my side hustle and community if I can’t show up?

That moment was my wake-up call.

I realized I needed automation, structure, and less of the “hustle until midnight” routine.

The Chaos of Being 30 Days Offline

I built a (almost) 10,000-subscriber Substack newsletter from scratch this year - without importing a huge email list. My newsletter was marked with that shiny bestseller badge within only two months (no overnight success!; started writing online four years ago) and reached $30,000 in ARR thanks to you. Because you’re amazing.

The Online Writing Club grew from zero to 10,000 subs

Just 3 subscribers away from hitting 10,000 this year! Will you be the one to help me cross the finish line? 🎉 Spoiler: A celebration is coming—with surprises (and I love surprises)!"

In November, I (had to) spent 30 days offline.

The Result? Chaos!

  • No edited podcasts.

  • No ready Medium drafts.

  • No newsletters scheduled.

  • No YouTube videos in the pipeline.

  • No Substack Notes posts ready to go.

  • No on demand courses to share with my audience.

  • No new valuable videos, templates, checklists etc. for my paid Online Writing Club members.

So it hit me: My side hustle wasn’t as passive as I wanted.

With two kids in the house, work, my husband and my part-time online newsletter writing business, I realized that things can spiral out of control fast.

In 2025 I need…

  • things on autopilot

  • not being actively involved every single day

Writing this down makes me breathe easier. I hope it does the same for you.

The Solution? Passive Income + Autopilot

Publishing my writing and earning money while I sleep and having things on autopilot feels so much better than scrambling to create last-minute content.

I’m not stuck staring at a blank cursor—I have too many ideas and not enough hours. That’s what kept me spinning in the hamster wheel of content creation in 2024.

But here’s the deal: That doesn’t have to be your story.

It’s not going to be mine anymore either.

After five days of sitting on the couch watching Emily in Paris after my surgery…

(I never watch Netflix, but it was romantic and fun, and now I'm dying to go back to Paris), reality has caught up with me. It probably wouldn't be as romantic with kids though.... more like yelling at my toddler, “Don't jump off the Eiffel Tower!”)

So today I'm taking control and planning my content in advance - and I'll show you how you can do the same!

But first please let me explain the reason WHY you need a content calendar.

Why You Need a Substack Content Calendar

Amazing and heart melting reviews for my 1-Month Substack Content Planner

In my opinion, your 1-Month Substack Content Planner (you can snag your planner here for FREE) together with the 12-Month Content Calendar 2025 isn’t just a productivity hack—it’s your safety net:
🎯 No more staring at a blank screen wondering what to write.
🤝 Consistency builds trust with your audience.
⏳ Batching saves time, leaving room for Netflix marathons (hello, Emily in Paris).

In my early career, I created content calendars for clients to keep teams aligned on what was being published, when, and why.

Now, it’s my mission to help you do the same for your newsletter—so you can show up consistently and promote your services or products with ease.
