I started my writing business in December 2020 with zero followers. Zero earnings and no clue how to play this online writing game.

… once she put herself out there on Notes (Substack’s social media platform) and dared to take new risks.
I was only able to sign a book deal with the world’s top publisher, Penguin, because I built the courage to pitch my book…and myself.
My business as a public speaker took off because I overcame my introversion and dared to show up on stage and grab the mic.
We all face insecurities about our work, self-doubt about showing up in public, fear of rejection, and lack of motivation when our efforts don’t translate into results.
That’s the reality of building your thing:
you have to fight your demons, and it starts with your mindset.
Most people give up in the danger zone…
Because insecurities creep in…
Am I invisible?
It feels I’m talking into the void?
Is my writing crap?
Your mind goes: Alarm! Alarm!
“Maybe I should turn and run and… quit?!”
Running away is easy and simple.
But what happens if you train your mind to embrace or ignore your danger zone and sail way beyond?
